Slovenia's Kek asks for time
Slovenia coach Matjaz Kek was heartbroken by USA's injury-time goal that condemned his side to third in the group and threw his support behind Capello's England for the rest of the World Cup.
"It's indescribable," Kek said. "Of course we're disappointed but I hope in time my players can focus on what they've achieved.
"I congratulate my team and England, I hope England will win the World Cup. England played well but at the end we could have got a draw, but sport is like that, very unpredictable."
As news came through of the USA's winner against Algeria in Pretoria, Slovenia's players sank to the turf in despair and Kek added that they should be allowed time to come to terms with the loss.
"Our [players] should be left alone for a while as they are feeling very hard moments," he said.
