Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dmitri Sychev is one of three players recalled by Russia coach Guus Hiddink in a 24-man squad for the World Cup qualifying play-offs against Slovenia later this month.
Sychev has scored 10 goals in his last 11 games for Lokomotiv and replaces Rubin Kazan striker Aleksandr Bukharov.
Dinamo Moscow duo Vladimir Gabulov and Denis Kolodin also return to the squad after recovery from injury.
Goalkeeper Gabulov is back after suffering a fractured cheekbone, while defender Kolodin has overcome a thigh injury.
