France striker Gignac fit for World Cup qualifier
France striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has been passed fit for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.
"He will take part in a training session behind closed doors later today and will be available for Wednesday's game (in Paris)," the French Football Federation said on its website on Monday.
Coach Raymond Domenech called up Gignac for the first time for last Saturday's game in Lithuania but he was ruled out because of an injury to his right thigh.
The 23-year-old Toulouse player is Ligue 1's top scorer this season with 18 goals.
France won 1-0 on Saturday and are third in Group Seven on seven points, behind Serbia on 12 and Lithuania on nine.
