England 0, Algeria 0
England played its 10th-ever 0-0 draw at the World Cup, more than any other nation, as Algeria earned a lifeline into the knockout stage.
• NEXT LEVEL: Wayne Rooney scored 26 goals for Manchester United during the 2009-10 season, but he has failed to find a goal for England at this World Cup. Part of that is because he is not getting the ball in the box. Rooney averaged eight touches in the box per match for Manchester United, but he only has a total of seven touches in the box at this year's World Cup.
• England's 472 passes is the team's fourth-most in a World Cup game since the stat was first kept in 1966 and its 387 successful passes were the fourth-most. The 387 successful passes are the most by an English team in a match it failed to win.
