Watford manager Walter Mazzarri believes the next six games could decide if his side are relegated from the Premier League this season.
The Hornets have enjoyed an encouraging start under Mazzarri and sit 11th in the table, seven points clear of the bottom three.
They now face an important period, however, as Saturday's game at home to Everton is followed by trips to Manchester City and a resurgent Sunderland before homes matches against struggling Crystal Palace and Tottenham. They then travel to the bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke.
Mazzarri believes the next month is likely to define Watford's season.
"It's very important. The next six games will probably decide our future and decide if we are going to be in the Premier League," Mazzarri said.
"It will decide in a certain way, if we are going to be up or playing in a different way and struggling more.
"These games will decide this. We have been unlucky on injuries and have been in a bit of an emergency for a couple of months.
"Now we have to understand what answer the next six games provide on the pitch."
Watford have conceded 10 goals from corners already this season and let in another against West Brom when Jonny Evans headed in.
Mazzarri admits he has been working with the players in training this week to solve the problem.
"I agree we have been conceding too many goals from corner kicks, which we have been working on all week," Mazzarri said.
"I decided to mark zonally in the last game because we have been missing many important defenders who can jump a lot.
"This is the solution we decided to adopt but this same solution can be changed."
Daryl Janmaat is set to return against Everton after missing last weekend's 3-1 defeat to West Brom with a bang to the head while Valon Behrami and Miguel Britos are both available after serving suspensions.
Younes Kaboul is still recovering from a muscle injury and Roberto Pereyra is also out as he is serving a ban.
