Raith look to use home advantage

Raith are able to include striker Greig Spence against Falkirk at Stark's Park after the striker recovered from a thigh strain in time for their Ramsdens Cup quarter-final.

Defender Grant Hill misses out after an appeal against his sending-off in the Scottish League Cup encounter versus Hearts was dismissed.

Manager Grant Murray said: "It is a tie which both sides will think they have a good chance of winning. We have home advantage and it would be great to make that tell as it is a while since we had a good cup run.

"I have been telling the players that you can never reach enough semi-finals or finals in your career."

Falkirk include Johnny Flynn in their plans after the defender came through 90 minutes for the club's Under-20 side in midweek after an ankle injury.

Winger Rakish Bingham, a recent loan signing from Wigan, could start for the club for the first time.

Falkirk technical director Alex Smith said: "Rakish only joined us last week but he did well as a substitute against Hamilton. This game could be very tight and a player like him may just produce something special to separate the sides.

"Raith built a really good squad during the summer however we have a good record in this competition and want to add to it."
