Bottom-of-the-table Queen's Park look set to be without Tony Quinn against Berwick Rangers.
Quinn suffered a calf injury in training on Thursday and the captain is struggling to be fit in time for the weekend.
However, Grant Mosson and James Baty are fit again - but a lack of game time following their injuries will see them miss out as the Spiders look for their first home win of the season.
Head coach Gardner Speirs said: "Berwick are a very good footballing side, however it is up to us to go and show what we can do.
"We played poorly in our last home against Montrose and everyone is looking for an improvement in this game."
Rangers, directly above their hosts, will miss the injured defensive duo of Dougie Brydon (pelvis) and Stephen Tulloch (hamstring) as they look to build on last Saturday's success against East Stirling.
Shielfield manager Ian Little said: "Ironically our win over East Stirling was on a day when we did not play as well as we have been. However, we got the desired result and in this league winning two games in a row can change everything.
"We have done the first part and go to Queen's Park knowing that another success will see us enter the play-off race after being second from bottom for a few games.``
