East Stirling welcome Iain Thomson back from illness as they host Annan.
Max Wright and Chris Townsley return from injury, but Rhys Devlin is a doubt and Nathan Shepherd remains out after knee surgery.
Paul Quinn could start after scoring twice in the 3-2 defeat against Albion Rovers in midweek.
Shire boss John Coughlin said: "It is time to get a win and start heading back up the way. Annan are doing well but we won at Galabank recently and it would be great to repeat that."
Annan include Steven Black despite the defender suffering a cut head against Clyde in midweek, but Peter Weatherson (knee), Iain Chisholm (knee), Steven Logan (foot) and David Hopkirk (foot) all continue to be missing.
Manager Jim Chapman is looking for an improved performance from his side.
He said: "We lost 2-1 to Clyde in midweek as they wanted the win more than us. You have to be at your best to win any game in this league and we were below par in that one.
"We have enough in our locker to win this one but we need to dig deep and show the desire to win the game."
