Scottish League Two leaders East Stirling are able to include fit-again striker Jamie Glasgow in their squad to face a Stirling side who have designs to move into top spot themselves.
The Shire are missing Nathan Shepherd (knee), Max Wright (hamstring) and Paul Quinn (ankle), with head coach John Coughlin looking for his side to play as they did against Raith last weekend despite losing 2-0.
Coughlin said: "I was delighted with how we played against Raith and if we play to the same level in this league then we will win games. Stirling will be looking to go top so we have to play well again to keep our spot."
Third-placed Stirling welcome back Graham Weir from illness as they look for revenge for a 3-0 defeat earlier in the season.
Bradley Coyne looks set to miss out through illness and David Weatherston remains absent with a hamstring problem.
Manager Greig McDonald is looking to use this match as a gauge of his side's improvement.
McDonald said: "The Shire have made an excellent start to their season and deserved the win they had over us. But I believe we have become a better side since then.
"This is a terrific test of how much we really have improved and one I am looking forward to."
