Doe back for Daggers

Defender Scott Doe returns to Dagenham's squad for the visit of Burton.

Doe missed Tuesday's 1-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Peterborough having sustained an ankle injury in last weekend's FA Cup exit at Bristol City, but he is fit again to feature against the Brewers.

Winger Anthony Edgar signed for the Daggers on Thursday on non-contract terms and could be involved in the matchday 18.

Boss Wayne Burnett has no new injury or suspension problems as Dagenham aim to reverse a run of three successive defeats, although the last two of those have come away to League One opposition in cup competitions.

Jordan Pickford is expected to return in goal for Burton.

On-loan Sunderland goalkeeper Pickford returned to his parent club last week after the Black Cats had worries over Keiren Westwood's fitness and missed Sunday's FA Cup first-round win over Hereford. The England Under-19 international should replace Dean Lyness between the posts in east London.

Defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff comes back into the reckoning after a one-match suspension and Adam McGurk will be fit despite sustaining a knock in training this week.

Rory Delap recently suffered a setback in his recovery from an ongoing hamstring problem and will remain on the sidelines. The former Derby and Stoke midfielder has not featured for Albion since a 2-0 home defeat to Oxford on September 7.
