Cod Army at full strength

Fleetwood have a clean bill of health and will start the new season against Dagenham as one of the favourites for promotion.

The Cod Army have made some impressive moves in the summer transfer window with the acquisitions of new club captain Mark Roberts, Ryan Cresswell and Steven Schumacher.

The latter came in to pre-season on the back of a hernia operation but has trained fully and will likely be one of the mainstays in Graham Alexander's XI.

Alexander steered Fleetwood to 13th in the League Two table after being handed the job just prior to Christmas.

A trio of new faces could make their Dagenham debuts.

Defender Brian Saah is expected to take his place at the back following his summer move from Torquay.

Teenage striker Afolabi Obafemi is also likely to lead the line alongside former Arsenal trainee Rhys Murphy.

Daggers boss Wayne Burnett will be without the likes of Dominic Green and Kevin Maher after a total of eight players were told to find new clubs at the end of last season.
