Double doubt for Accies

Hamilton have doubts over forwards Jon McShane and Andy Ryan for the William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final clash with Falkirk.

McShane recently returned from a cruciate ligament injury but has suffered a minor tweak in his other knee, while Ryan has a knock.

Manager Billy Reid will assess both players ahead of the last-eight encounter.

Reid said: ``It's frustrating because we haven't got too many forward players. It would be nice if at least one of them could make it.''

Falkirk midfielder Craig Sibbald will miss the clash.

The teenager recently fought back from an ankle injury but broke down during an Under-20s game in midweek.

Falkirk manager Steven Pressley said: ``We are disappointed for the kid because he has worked so hard to come back.''

The Bairns otherwise have a full squad for the New Douglas Park encounter.
