Bishops ready to go
Bishop's Stortford manager Rod Stringer has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the FA Cup first-round clash with Hastings United.
Danny J. Green, signed following his release from npower League Two side Dagenham, impressed on his first start for the club during Saturday's draw with Oxford City and is likely to keep his place on the left wing.
Stringer gave first league starts to Nathan Livings and Callum Webb last weekend and could include them in his squad for the tie.
Victory on Saturday would provide a huge financial boost for the Bishops, who would stand to receive £18,000 from The FA's prize fund if they progress to the second round of the prestigious cup competition.
Hastings player-manager Sean Ray has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
The Ryman Premier League strugglers beat Blackfield & Langley to book their place at this stage for the first time in 10 years.
Ray is likely to make a number of changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Margate last weekend but will surely stick with in-form striker Bradley Goldberg, who has scored in all of his side's FA Cup matches this season.
Saturday's draw with Margate gave United their first league point since August 27 and Ray will be hoping that a good cup run can reverse the club's fortunes.
