Cowdenbeath will be without suspended defender John Armstrong as they host Partick in the Ramsdens Cup semi-finals after their appeal against his dismissal at Livingston last weekend was rejected.
There was further bad news when Lewis Milne was injured in a midweek reserve game and he has also been ruled out.
Milne joins Liam Cusack and Pablo Navas on the injured list with Zeph Thomas on international duty with St Kitts and Nevis, however Joe Mbu and Dean Brett are expected to shake off knocks to feature.
Blue Brazil player-manager Colin Cameron said: ``There was very little between us when they won 2-1 at Firhill recently.
``If our players can go out and believe in themselves they can reach a cup final which would be an amazing achievement.''
Partick have an injury doubt over Alan Archibald as they look to secure a place in the Ramsdens Cup final for the first time since the tournament was launched in 1990.
Sean Welsh is included again with manager Jackie McNamara warning his men that they will need to be at their best to defeat their hosts.
McNamara said: ``Cowdenbeath are a very well organised team who will work all day for their manager.
``We beat them recently but it was a really tight game so we have to go to Central Park and make things happen as opposed to waiting for them to happen.
``We have the opportunity to create a first but we will only do that if we go out and play well.''
