Head coach Gardner Speirs looking for his men to show more menace in attack.
``We are still a few wins away from definitely being in the play-offs and it would be great to get that sorted sooner rather than later,'' he said.
``To pick up the points we need we have to have more of a cutting edge than showed against Elgin.
``Attacks broke down as we slowed things down when we should have been speeding them up. Hopefully we will get the pace right in this one.''
Stirling Albion head to Hampden to face Queen's Park without Jamie Bishop.
The defender is completing a two-game ban for Albion, who are unbeaten in 11 matches.
The Binos are determined to pick up their first points of the season from the Spiders.
Player-manager Greig McDonald said: ``We are having a great run just now and we have to hope that we have not left it too late for the play-offs.
``Queen's have beaten us three times this season but in each game there has only ever been one goal in the games so we do not need to be fearful.
``Winning this game and winning at Montrose on Saturday would make us realistic play-off contenders, but it is not as easy as that.``
