Annan's Chris Jardine has been passed fit to start against East Stirling as recently-appointed manager Jim Chapman looks to chalk up his first win in charge.
The Black and Golds will be missing Peter Watson with a thigh injury, Graeme Ramage with a knee problem and David Murray is a doubt due to an injured foot.
Chapman is looking forward to locking horns with an old foe, saying: ``Their coach John Coughlin and I had some great tussles when he was at Stenhousemuir and I was at Dumbarton. The games were always like a chess match.
``Last week at Elgin we attacked really well but defended disappointingly. Hopefully we can be on top form in both halves of the pitch this week.''
East Stirling will give captain Kevin Turner until as late as possible to see if he can play as he battles a long-standing groin problem.
Scott Maxwell is also a doubt with a rib injury with Rhys Devlin (knee) and Philipp Zufle (ankle) already ruled out through injury.
Head coach John Coughlin said: ``Kevin has been getting patched up and played for a few games now so we have to assess him very carefully. He is a big player for us but we cannot risk losing him for a long period.
``We have to be on our guard in this game as Annan have two very good and quick strikers in Daniel Orsi and David Hopkirk. Keeping them quiet will be key to doing well in this game.''
