Montrose bid to prolong unbeaten run
Paul Lunan is the only absentee as Montrose look to defeat third-placed Peterhead and take their unbeaten run to five games.
The versatile Lunan will miss the encounter due to a groin injury, with the Links Park side knowing exactly which opposition player they have to keep quiet if they are to succeed.
Manager Stuart Garden said: ``We played well up at Peterhead in our first meeting and matched them in most areas but Rory McAllister popped up and scored twice to win the game.
``We will have to keep him in check if we are to take anything from this one.''
Garden added: ``We have hit a good run of form and are in a decent place in the league and I do not want that to end. It will be tough but a win over Peterhead would be great.''
Peterhead have ruled out full-back Graeme Sharp with a knee injury as they head to Montrose looking for only their second away win of the season
New signing Ryan McCann is unavailable due to a suspension from his days with Ayr, however goalkeeper Graeme Smith is in line for a debut with assistant manager David Nicholls also hopeful Rory McAllister can play despite a recent illness.
Nicholls said: ``Rory had missed training but he returned on Thursday and if he keeps on improving at the rate he has been he will make the game.
``Montrose are on a decent run of form just now so it will be a tough ask to win but the players can battle for a result as they showed against Clyde last weekend (in a 1-0 victory).''
