Mitchell back for Stranraer
Stranraer welcome back goalkeeper David Mitchell from suspension as they host a bottom-of-the-table Albion Rovers side that are looking to close the nine-point gap between the sides.
David MacGregor remains out for the Blues due to a knee injury, but Jamie Campbell should return after illness.
Stair Park manager Stephen Aitken said: ``Albion Rovers will be boosted by their midweek win over Stenhousemuir. I watched the game and it was a good performance and a deserved win.
``It has ensured that we know we cannot take them for granted.
``This is a very big weekend in the Second Division as a win could see us move up a place and into mid-table as well as getting back to a 12-point gap between us and Rovers.''
Albion have experienced defender Marvin Andrews available for the trip after work commitments kept them out of the 4-3 win over Stenhousemuir in midweek.
However, manager Todd Lumsden may be reluctant to change the team that achieved a first success in 10 games.
An ankle injury keeps Mick O'Byrne out and Tony Stevenson's knee problem means he is absent once again.
Lumsden said: ``Some people are billing this as a must-win game but I don't see it that way. It would be a great game to win but there is still a lot of football to be played.
``Our spirits remained high despite our poor run but we now have an added degree of confidence and we will look to keep that good feeling going at Stranraer.''
