Nurnberg v Hannover 96: Preview

Nurnberg coach Michael Wiesinger says his side are up against one of the best teams in the league as they prepare to welcome Hannover to the Frankenstadion.

The Reds may have the second worst away record in the league, yet Wiesinger has paid respect to Mirko Slomkas side and warned his own team to expect a battle tomorrow.

``They are very unpredictable,'' he said. ``Given their attacking strength, they are one of the best teams in the league.''

Wiesinger does not expect that strength to have suffered from a tiring trip to Russia on Thursday, where Hannover were beaten 3-1 by Anji in the Europa League.

``We are going to have to be fully focused and not speculate on our opponents being tired,'' added Wiesinger at a press conference.

The situation of playing on an artificial pitch is different to how it will be here tomorrow.

And Hannover coach Mirko Slomka says it is high time his sides results on their travels improved.

``On paper, it is pretty clear, but the time has come for us to get points away from home,'' he said.

``We are going to have to try to attack Nurnberg and put them under pressure. We don`t need to hide and have more chances than recently to attack away from home.''

Slomka will not be concerned about tiredness as he prepares to name the same team he chose in Russia with the addition of winter signing Franca, who is in line for his debut.

Wiesinger also has a full squad of players to choose from with the exception of Timo Gebhart.
