Borussia Dortmund v SC Freiburg: Preview

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has called for his side's full focus to be aimed at tomorrow's Bundesliga clash with Freiburg and not the outcome of the Champions League draw.

Having reached the last eight of the competition, Dortmund could be forgiven for putting all of their eggs in that basket rather than the league where they trail Bayern Munich by 20 points with 10 games remaining.

The Westphalians are also out of the DFB-Pokal, but Klopp is nevertheless keen to end the season as well as possible, which means finishing second and not neglecting the league in favour of Europe.

``It seems quite strange when you are second in the league and the delight is not oozing out of you,'' he said.

``We could have done a lot better in certain situations, but we are in the thick of an exciting season.

``We may not have done everything right, but we have at least done enough to be leading the rest of the league.

``But anything under 100 per cent (against Freiburg) will not be enough.''

Freiburg arrive in Dortmund off the back of a heavy 5-2 defeat at home to Wolfsburg last weekend, a result which their coach Christian Streich said was the result of numerous contributory factors.

He now wants to see a reaction from his team against Dortmund.

``We want to fight like lions,'' he said at a press conference. ``We want to play good football and be decent opponents.''

Streich is without the injured Cedric Makiadi while former Freiburg midfielder Sebastian Kehl misses out for Dortmund, who are also without central defender Mats Hummels for the next four weeks.
