Montpellier defender Daniel Congre says his side are determined to give boss Rene Girard a winning send-off despite the disappointment of missing out on a European place this season.
Girard led the club to an historic Ligue 1 title last season but will leave at the end of the current campaign, and his side head to Bastia tomorrow sitting in seventh place and out of reach of the top four.
Congre said: ``There is no need to get motivated because we always play with passion and we have no right to get bored.
``We want to pay tribute to the four years of Rene Girard and victory can make the moments that remain more enjoyable.
``It is the end of the season and everyone is tired mentally and physically. It has been a busy season with the Champions League as well, but we want to finish it well.''
Montpellier ended a run of three straight losses with a 2-1 win over Brest last week but go into the game without injured pair Younes Belhanda and Cyril Jeunechamp.
Bastia start the game in 13th place and with no wins from their last four games after an unfortunate 2-1 defeat at Marseille last week.
Coach Frederic Hantz will take confidence from that performance but knows the size of the task against Girard's men.
Hantz said: ``We have had good and bad times this season and we are aware of how much we still have to improve. But to beat Montpellier we will have to play well.''
