Ravi Ubha: Guys and gals, thanks for joining me today. Was great fun, as usual.
Stick with us for more live coverage coming up.
    So long for now.

  •

    [Comment from Stephen]
How anyone can sit here and applaud united is truly sickening

  •

    [Comment from Stunned]
Love the United spin. If this went the other way they wouldn't be saying it's okay

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Everyone wants Chelsea to win at Old Trafford now.

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
Chica was offsides, but same as Arteta yesterday. Both hard to get right as they were close in a very active situation.

  •

    [Comment from Peter]
I find mustering any respect for Manchester United difficult.

  •

    [Comment from John]
At the end of the day, the players don't control the cards and they have to take advantage of good/bad calls. United did that today

  •

    [Comment from Troy]
Watch the replays, there was contact on young, and torres went down 2 yards after the contact. If he had gone down right when contact was made, call would have gone the other way. The offside was a judgement call by linesman not one missed by clattenburg

  •

    [Comment from M]
    Turned into a real sixpointer.

  •

    [Comment from Stunned]
Hernandez was offsides by 2 players. Behind keeper AND entire Chelsea defense

  •

    [Comment from Frances]
Blame this for Chelsea defenders :). So many mistakes have been made.

  •

    [Comment from Doug]
Bayern Munich losing at home to Leverkusen if anyone's interested.

  •

    [Comment from JT in GalTex]
Torres has a history of diving.... Justice served. Good red card.

  •

    [Comment from John]
Offsides goal the most depressing. He was coming back from IN THE GOAL.

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    United all the way

  •

    [Comment from Tony]
    This is truely pathetic

  •

    [Comment from PAul]
Unfortunately a game ruined. As a Utd fan I like the win, but it was severely tainted. First red was right, second will be repealed later.

  •

    [Comment from Rio]
    And justice was done.

  •

    [Comment from Tim]
Fergie's decision to start Clattenburg proved to be decisive

  •

Ravi Ubha: Top of the table:
    Chelsea 22, United 21, City 21, Tottenham 17, Everton 16.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: So, today's results:
    Everton 2-2 Liverpool
    Newcastle 2-1 WBA
    Southampton 1-2 Tottenham
    Chelsea 2-3 United

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    how can they be celebrating?

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
    Pathetic.

  •

    [Comment from Dominic]
    Chelsea and fans robbed

  •

    [Comment from BrandonCOYS]
Come on Fergie, give Clattenburg a big hug

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
"Everything went better than expected!" - Clattenburg

  •

    [Comment from Raza_88]
    Absurd.

  •

    [Comment from Brian]
an absolute joke of a game

  •

    [Comment from Alex N.]
    ...gotta love bad refereeing decisions.

  •

    [Comment from Man U Fan]
This man u team is useless. How were they bossed so easily by Chels?

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
    3-2!

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
Stamford Bridge fortress finally broken... by the refs.

  •

    [Comment from Abraham]
"A well deserved victory for Man United" - No one

  •

Ravi Ubha: First win for United at the Bridge in 10.5 years (league)

  •

Ravi Ubha: FT: Chelsea 2, United 3.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Leads to nothing.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Last chance: Get bodies up there Chelsea.

  •

    [Comment from Henri]
Given that united lost by Goal differential last year, you would think they would try to get a few more goals on team with 9 men

  •

    [Comment from dinho]
abramovich is going to buy falcao because of this match.

  •

    [Comment from Tony]
EPL is quickly going down the drain with disgusting refreeing

  •

Ravi Ubha: 1 minute of the 5 remaining.

  •

    [Comment from Wiil P]
This is a fantastic end! U-N-I-T-E-D!!!

  •

    [Comment from John]
    This refereeing is disconcerting

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Keep ball time.

  •

Ravi Ubha: United with a corner and play it short, keeping possession.

  •

Ravi Ubha: I'll take that tradeoff.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
I apologize for my lack of comments Ravi. I keep typing em out but can't hit send due to the language I wish to use

  •

    [Comment from mike]
this game is making me depressed

  •

    [Comment from berbatunday]
so was that a dive also by valencia?

  •

    [Comment from Rodrigo]
Ref is just trying to compensate now, disgusting

  •

    [Comment from aaa]
Referee trying to act fair by giving the yellow to Valencia

  •

Ravi Ubha: Valencia breaks in on the right but skews his shot across goal way wide. That after Luiz used an elbow on RVP.

  •

    [Comment from Fergie]
    Squeaky bum time, lads!

  •

    [Comment from John]
They're playing 14 on 9, no chance of an equalizer

  •

    [Comment from Ukie86]
Hahahaha, Clattenburg is a mockery. Hahahahahahaha

  •

Ravi Ubha: Valencia's turn to get a yellow for a dive!

  •

Ravi Ubha: But not enough men!

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
Enough time for Chelsea to equalize

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    Fergie Time!!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: In the League Cup. I'd imagine plenty of youth on display.

  •

    [Comment from Mike]
Wonder how this match would effect the midweek meeting.

  •

    [Comment from Nick]
Thought Cahill was going to get a red for Van Persie

  •

    Ravi Ubha: 5 added minutes.

  •

    [Comment from Kyle]
I still can't believe I voted no on the red card poll...

  •

Ravi Ubha: They're evaluated and yes, can get demoted for the following game.

  •

    [Comment from David]
Hey Ravi, do refs generally face any kind of punishment for games like this or the Liverpool decision?

  •

    [Comment from willie]
if this result holds, makees the table very interesting

  •

Ravi Ubha: Looks to be OK.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Now ball out of play. It looks like he hyper-extended his knee.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Van Persie down but they play on.

  •

Ravi Ubha: A mix-up at the back almost allows Sturridge to go in alone.

  •

Ravi Ubha: I hear ya, Julio. When your team loses it's not fun.

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
Ravi, if you were wearing a blue shirt you'd know how that drama comes at the cost of a heavy heart. My whole day will just SUCK now

  •

Ravi Ubha: Young with a ball over the top to Hernandez but his left-footed shot goes over the bar.

  •

    [Comment from JohnBrewinESPN via Twitter]
Jane's Addiction record playing at Wembley. Possibly for the first time.

  •

    [Comment from Clattenburg]
Explanation: Well i had to take two men off to balance the game

  •

    [Comment from Rocstefan]
Worst officiating ever. Ref should be sent down!

  •

    [Comment from Dustin]
This is more than a joke

  •

    Ravi Ubha: But what drama!

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
Its so sad to see an exciting game turn so dull thanks to some amazingly stupid calls

  •

Ravi Ubha: Can Chelsea create one more chance?

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
United don't look like they know how to play against nine men

  •

    [Comment from Brian]
    Now they start calling offsides...

  •

    [Comment from Wiil P]
Yeah in Enlgand, throw out a green flag to challenge, and video replay on the jombo-screen

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Each manager should get a challenge just like in NFL. Yes people will hate bringing in an American aspect to the game, but it WOULD help.

  •

    [Comment from IanEdwards46 via Twitter]
@markpougatch contact was so minimal Torres had to exaggerate his fall looking for free kick. Theatrics run risk of refs calling simulation

  •

    [Comment from Tim]
    Still top of the table....

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
How valuable will these 3 points prove to be later in the season as well. Just a bad day for the EPL when it was poised to be so great

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
If only you could challenge the calls...

  •

    [Comment from Sam]
Nope. can't appeal on two yellows

  •

    [Comment from Mikel]
i see another Red card coming. And a penalty

  •

    [Comment from Colin]
Wow Evans could have been sent off for that studs up after the whistle.

  •

    [Comment from John]
Van Persie diving like a champ.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Yes, Chelsea can.

  •

    [Comment from Amanda]
can torres appeal the red card?

  •

    [Comment from JamesTylerESPN via Twitter]
@DreHui um, ok? I am a lifelong #lfc fan so if I believed in conspiracy, I'd shout it from rooftops.

  •

    [Comment from Brian]
Give me the NFL replacement officials

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    What????????????? he is totally offside

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
I can't bother with my spellings right now, too excited

  •

    [Comment from Nick]
Chelsea indeed has been torn apart.....by the ref.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Reminder: Last season it ended 3-3 at the Bridge.

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
Still hope we can get a pnelaty kick

  •

    [Comment from Duck]
Will P, two years in a row, same team, same dodgy calls?

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
Cant belive that chelsea will win with 9 men

  •

    [Comment from JamesTylerESPN via Twitter]
Being incompetent is of course far more troubling for the FA. And much harder to fix.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Sturridge on for Hazard in the 82nd minute. So Hazard, Mata and Oscar off.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Mock applause from Chelsea fans when Chelsea gets a free kick.

  •

    [Comment from berbatunday]
off all the calls though, only the torres red was inexplicable, the offside call can be excused, a bit tight

  •

    [Comment from Wiil P]
every sport has TERRIBLE REFS and CALLS!! Suck it up and put your big boy pants on and take this loss!

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
This is a joke. Incompetence of the highest order. We have lost today but I give credit to our lads. Great effort.

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
    United STILL dont look comfortable

  •

Ravi Ubha: Arsene will be watching a few goals go into the Arsenal net next week at OT.

  •

    [Comment from Arsene Wenger]
I couldn't see it clearly from my vantage point, you have to go with what the linesman said he saw.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Can you tell me? Because no pun intended!

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
knows the box....I see what you did there lol

  •

    [Comment from Colin]
Manchester United never catch a break - said nobody ever

  •

Ravi Ubha: Second red not justifiable.

  •

    [Comment from KomZ]
Certainly the 2 red cards are justifiable but that offside goal isn't

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
Still a great game to me!

  •

    [Comment from Frank]
Two reds and an obvious offsides, what a joke

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
People saying it was a good call are just trolling

  •

Ravi Ubha: OK, we know it was offside. But the instinct there from Chicharito is superb. The guy knows the box very well.

  •

    [Comment from JamesTylerESPN via Twitter]
What many call conspiracy, I think is just rank incompetency.

  •

    [Comment from Howard Webb]
    That was a good call.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Its sad because this was such a fun game to watch and now its been ruined

  •

    [Comment from Mark]
Shame both of the big games today are ruined by the refs. Liverpool earned the win earlier and now Chelsea are being run out of the game

  •

    [Comment from Chad]
I'm physically ill watching these refs.

  •

    [Comment from Alex Ferguson]
Great Officiating! I see nothing wrong with it!

  •

    [Comment from Frank]
    What a joke

  •

    [Comment from JamesTylerESPN via Twitter]
    #REFEREES

  •

    [Comment from Henri]
People, Chelsea is not exactly a loved team.

  •

    [Comment from Andy]
This has turned into a joke

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
    Chelsefreudenschade.......I LOVE IT

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
how is offside a good position??

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
So many refs are going to the lower leagues after today...

  •

    [Comment from lfc fan]
god week for linesmen, first arsenal, then liverpool , and now this

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Correct.

  •

    [Comment from Justin]
At least the offside isn't Clattenburg's call?

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
Such a joke. Disgrace to football

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
This is why Man UTD is one of the most hated teams

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
This is a great game being absolutely destroyed by poor calls.

  •

    [Comment from Tea]
United's investment in referees really paying off here.

  •

    [Comment from John]
    Pathetic.

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
Credit to Hernandez for running back and getting in a good position!

  •

    [Comment from lando4city]
Chicharito was offside. This is farce.

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
    Twas offside too LOL

  •

    [Comment from Craig]
    U-N-I-T-E-D

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    now i REALLY feel robbed

  •

Ravi Ubha: Clattenburg should give himself a yellow, too.

  •

Ravi Ubha: And now Mikel gets a yellow for dissent.

  •

    [Comment from NHBob]
    goal offside

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
HE IS OFFSIDE IS THIS A JOKE

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    offside 100%

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Still, 3-2 United.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Great save by Cech at first, cleared off the line. But it falls to Rafael who shoots towards goal and it's Hernandez there for the tap in. But he's OFFSIDE.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Of course to United.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: GOAL!

  •

    [Comment from M]
Chances SAF still complains about the refs postgame: 75%.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Now that would be crushing. Blow a 2-0 lead and lose to 9 men.

  •

    [Comment from Raza_88]
I'm neutral, but even I want Chelsea to somehow win; Hazard on the counter or something.

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    i feel robbed right now

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
That's what smart managers do to win ballgames

  •

    [Comment from lfc fan]
said more than one red in the poll, im psychic

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
good call by Ferguson to keep Rooney from getting his second yellow

  •

    [Comment from Colin]
Should have been at least a foul on Evans, he caught him, period.

  •

    [Comment from Chris]
WHY GIGGS!!!!!!!! need fresh legs not old legs

  •

Ravi Ubha: Why, you ask? Rooney already on a yellow.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Giggs coming on for Rooney.

  •

Ravi Ubha: That will make the fans feel better. Van Persie skies over from 20 yards.

  •

    [Comment from Justin]
It's never a red for Evans, and everyone on here really knows it, but it wasn't a pure dive either. Ref should just let that go completely, no foul either way.

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
Stop with the Utd getting favourable treatment Please!

  •

    [Comment from Bundi]
Young a diver? I thought Suarez was the only diver in the EPL given the media coverage...

  •

    [Comment from JohnBrewinESPN via Twitter]
Illegal touching seemingly a crime in NFL.

  •

    [Comment from Phil]
Howard Webb is at Stamford Bridge somewhere.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea, you might recall, were down to nine men last season vs. QPR and lost.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Mata off for Bertrand as Chelsea will park the bus for the remaining 20 mins.

  •

Ravi Ubha: No, I don't think so. He's not as bad of a diver as let's say, Young.

  •

    [Comment from Kyle]
Ravi, is that a bad reputation call on Torres?

  •

    [Comment from lfc fan]
as a liverpool fan this is perfect

  •

    [Comment from Sam]
Man U's ref bias comes in to play again

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    welcome to the premier league

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
Sir Alex get to the refs at halftime? Me thinks so

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
I don't like Torres or Chelsea but that was a bad call

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
Only United could EVER get that call. Ridiculous.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: No way.

  •

    [Comment from Sanchini]
he was never touched..... it was a justified YELLOW

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    How was that a dive??

  •

    [Comment from MNstars]
Hey, lets ruin a good game. As usual

  •

    [Comment from JTs Left Foot]
    wow that was awful

  •

    [Comment from Gulzeb]
Evans should have been the one off there.

  •

    [Comment from Alex N.]
About to come off, and that was a horrendous call.

  •

    [Comment from Henri]
    that's a tough yellow. I'm for United but I don't want this.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Fergie and the Chelsea coaching staff going at it...

  •

    [Comment from Alex N.]
    Terrible call. Terrible terrible call.

  •

    [Comment from Johnny]
Oh wow. No wonder Chelsea fans are so paranoid about the refs.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: LOL.
    Torres on mine...

  •

    [Comment from Doug]
Both Chelsea players in my fantasy team have been sent off! Unbelievable!!!

  •

    [Comment from M]
    Clear contact

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
Cruel choice. There's contact, about as much as on Young.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
And he was just about to come off as well.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
okay Chelsea fans can gripe about that one

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    Horrible call!

  •

    [Comment from Dustin]
There was more contact there than the Young DIVE.

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
That is a big call, and Ima United fan

  •

    [Comment from CHRIS C]
    WOW!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Evans certainly got a piece of Torres.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Bad, bad call.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Or that's what the ref saw.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Torres second yellow for diving.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea down to NINE MEN!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: OMG....

  •

Ravi Ubha: More fresh legs about to come on for Chelsea, but it's Sturridge. Let's see who goes off. Torres?

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Go ahead!

  •

    [Comment from berbatunday]
can I change my vote, I think the game ends 3-3

  •

    [Comment from Phil]
Had to be red. Young made the most of it but it just had to be red you cant argue with that. Im a chelsea fan too.

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
United havent won at SB in 10 years, so I think it will end in a draw.

  •

    [Comment from CHRIS C]
Chicharito to score with his FACE!!! COME ON!!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: It's Oscar who goes off.

  •

Ravi Ubha: As I said, Michael, it was red. No question.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Instead of posting our comments Ravi, give us your thoughts on the card

  •

Ravi Ubha: Azpilicueta about to come in at right back. One of the attackers will go off.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
How should RDM change his tactics?

  •

    [Comment from Andre]
PK and Fergie's Time are next!

  •

    [Comment from The Jonny]
Chicharito the Chelsea Killer to come on.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    That was a DIVE!

  •

Ravi Ubha: He's coming on in the 65th minute for Cleverley.

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
Now Hernandez to score the winner !

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
    you didn't see Ivanovic arguing

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
Wow that was a dive on the replay.

  •

    [Comment from Kim]
    Correct decision in my opinion

  •

    [Comment from Dustin]
He didnt even get touched, the replay was CLEAR

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
    that was definitely a foul

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
United will get a red a some point as well.

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
now all we need is a PK...

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
What did you expect from Young? He dives at every occasion.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    Cynical from Ivanovic.

  •

    [Comment from Andre]
    Typical United. LOL

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
he didnt make a meal of it, come on now

  •

    [Comment from Dustin]
It didnt look like he touched him!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Yeah.

  •

    [Comment from Doug]
    Last defender red Ravi?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Rooney over the bar on the ensuing free kick.

  •

    [Comment from Toby]
    Rooney to score the freekick....

  •

    [Comment from Dustin]
    That was a DIVE!

  •

    [Comment from Doug]
THAT will make the last few minutes interesting...

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
    So little contact..... ughhhhhhh

  •

    [Comment from maverick]
not malicious, but i think correct decision

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
    I told you so!!!

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
    Oh dear.....

  •

    [Comment from Toby]
    i knew it!

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
    Red!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Ivanovic clips Young as he's about to go clean through. Of course Young makes a meal of it, but has to be a red.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: RED to CHELSEA.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Trouble for Chelsea...

  •

    Ravi Ubha: 8

How many players in the starting XI today actually have a claim to being Champions of Europe? 4? 5?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Inswinger, into the safe hands of Cech.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: United corner.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
I was skeptical about Chelsea's transfers at the beginning of the year. My humble pie taste very good though

  •

Ravi Ubha: Valencia flicks the ball past Ramires and is crunched by the Brazilian. No card.

  •

    [Comment from Henri]
@Sterling, iPhone, IPad and TV. it's the way it's done these days.

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
Same here Archer. Trying to watch my Redskins vs the Steelers.

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
    I really need two TVs

This Chelsea can dominate any team in the EPL. Simply amazing how they are dominating Man Utd,

    United midfield getting crushed

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
    Great game so far!

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
For anybody who's a neutral supporter: how fun are the Blues to watch?

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
We know what we are, Champions of Europe

  •

    [Comment from phil]
    cleverly got owned there

  •

  •

Ravi Ubha: All Chelsea now. Hazard tries to poke the ball past De Gea with his right foot from two yards out instead of heading the ball.

  •

    [Comment from Chris]
cleverly is definitely getting beat all game defensively. Couple chances first half came from his man

  •

Ravi Ubha: We shouldn't forget the role of Mata there. He kept the move going with a fabulous take down behind Evans.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
aaarrrrgggghhhhhh United really need Vidic back

  •

    [Comment from Troy]
ok...i have to leave this chat...my stream of the game is delayed by about 30 seconds

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
There we go!!! Race to the finish!

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    GOAL!!!! YES RAMIRES!!!

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
    YES!!!!!!! There we go!!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Header from Ramires, cross by Oscar.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Ramires!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: 2-2!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Seen them given?

  •

    [Comment from KomZ]
Was that hand ball or what?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Cabaye is a handy little player.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
Van P. is a great player but he whines and complains quite a bit. I lost all respect for him a that Caybe elbow!

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
Based on pure shot stopping Dea Gea is terrific. But on the set pieces, he has zero confidence.

  •

    [Comment from kwame]
rooney is gonna redeem himself u watch

  •

Ravi Ubha: That's the current Torres in a nutshell - not intent on driving towards the defenders. Trying to be all pretty like an Arsenal player.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Then Clattenburg blows when Luiz has a hand on RVP. Silly from Luiz, since he was being watched by Clattenburg, but that was a harsh call from the ref.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Now Luiz and RVP tangling in the box. RVP saying Luiz was tugging his shirt.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Rafael fouls his fellow Brazilian Luiz for a free kick.

  •

Ravi Ubha: That was almost 2 for Mata. Block from United as Mata was left unattended nearing the box.

  •

    [Comment from Troy]
Let's hope chelsea carry on in the second half how they ended the first

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
DeGea has excellent reflexes but lacks the presence of the top GKs.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
It seems like De Gea always has a poor clearance in him doesn't it?

  •

Ravi Ubha: United have a corner; then it turns into a counter for Chelsea but Torres fumbles the move.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Second half about to start.

  •

    [Comment from Johnny]
Off topic, but American football at Wembley is a great sight. I just hope that the Rams get the home support that they deserve, and not just because I'm a Patriots hater.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
What the Toon beat someone that doesn't play in Europe?

  •

Ravi Ubha: They spent 20 million on De Gea. But is he world class. I don't quite think so at the moment. There's always a mistake in him, somewhere. I'm sure his defenders aren't exactly confident with him behind them.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
Ravi, what are your thought on De Gea? Why don't Man U spend some $ on a world class keeper?

  •

    [Comment from stu]
united really let chelsea back into the game. Once it got 2-0 u could see united take the foot off the throttle

  •

Ravi Ubha: The kicker: Ba went off injured.

  •

    [Comment from berbatunday]
Ba and Cisse scoring in the same match? are the mayans right all along?

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
I think there is a penalty in this game. Hazard to take

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
new poll: Luiz turnover to Rooney for a goal, Evans own goal, or Lampard PK?

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
The game's gonna end like this! 2-1 to Man U. But with a penalty miss at one of the ends! (Oh and a red card!)

  •

    [Comment from dinho]
chelsea is going to win. they got the momentum back.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Newcastle have scored late and appeared to have won it 2-1.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Spurs 2-1 over Southampton, final.

  •

Ravi Ubha: John's at the NFL. Some nice burgers and hot dogs I'd imagine there.

  •

    [Comment from JohnBrewinESPN via Twitter]
At Wembley. Have now done at least 30 hi fives already. Hands sore. Struggling to cope with the razzmatazz. You don't get this at Moss Rose.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Another player first linked with Arsenal who didn't go to Arsenal...

  •

Ravi Ubha: I can think of Lampard and Drogba doing similar, if not better. But he's on fire indeed.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Has there ever been a better run of form from a Chelsea player than Mata's recently?

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
Well, the temperature really turned up on this match in the last 20 minutes.

  •

Ravi Ubha: I think he was given some much needed time off. He's played a lot in the last two years.

  •

PCarrESPN: In past 15 PL seasons, Man United has led by one goal at half 73 times and lost only three of those (51-3-19)

  •

    [Comment from Danielle]
How is Mata over looked for Spain?

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
That's how we finish Blues. We will get another goal.

  •

  •

Ravi Ubha: Let's hope the second half now is better than at Goodison.

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
Really similar to LPool/Everton so far, just took a little longer for Chelsea to score.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Whistle blows. HT: Chelsea 1, United 2.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Another Chelsea corner.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Cleared.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: United corner.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Mata is in absolute top form lately.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
How badly do United want that halftime whistle right now?

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
United are rocked. Chelsea on the forefront. This game will become level.

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
    What a crazy half.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
DEAR LORD we should have 3 or 4 by now!!!

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    So close!

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
    Brace yourself. Goals are coming.

  •

Ravi Ubha: United all over the place and Torres sets up Mata, whose toe poke is saved by De Gea. De Gea created the problem in the first place with a bad kick.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Almost 2-2!

  •

    [Comment from Marvin]
That silly Rooney booking is going to haunt them dearly.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Right before half time, that is crucial.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
JUAN MATA!!!!!! LEGEND IN THE MAKING!!!!

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
    What a cracker!

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
    WOW!!!!!

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
    everyone could see it coming

  •

    [Comment from blue dc]
    yes!! mata!!!

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
    Brilliant!!! There we go!!!

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
    YES MATA!!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Beats the wall and curls.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Free kick nestled into the far side.

  •

Ravi Ubha: They get one back!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: GOAL!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Mata to take.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Free kick three yards outside the box, close to center.

  •

Ravi Ubha: You knew that was coming: Rooney loses the ball to Hazard and he was intent on getting it back. When he doesn't, he dives in and is rightfully booked.

  •

    [Comment from Toby]
    What a save that was!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Corner for Chelsea again after Rooney scuffs his kick.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
New poll: Evans own goal or Luiz turnover to Rooney for a goal?

  •

    [Comment from blue dc]
how have we not scored yet!!!!!!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Then De Gea stops Torres!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Balls skims all the way to the far post but Torres can't react quick enough on a tough chance.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Corner Chelsea.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Terry would be in the team if not suspended.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
never thought I would ever type this but Chelsea could use the calming influence of John Terry and Frank Lampard

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
Mikel can you take any longer!?

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Holy crap, could Mikel have looked more confused with what to do on that attack?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Sloppy play from Carrick. He concedes possession to Mikel, but then with the momentum, he slows, dithers, and the chance to pass to Torres goes.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Or a goal at the other end.

  •

    [Comment from Ryan]
Jonny Evans has an own goal in him somewhere

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
Will someone please tell Luiz to stop taking Free kick's. The one he took earlier was the only decent one he has ever taken.

  •

    [Comment from Czuch Norris]
Did I just see somebody say, "Good defending by United"? A rarity this season.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Is he that rated?

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
    Luiz is soooooooo overrated

  •

Ravi Ubha: He has tailed off slightly.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Hazard non-existent.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Have Hazard or Mata gotten involved yet?

  •

Ravi Ubha: He takes it, but good defending by United.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Luiz I think wants it.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
United's kryptonite: corners and set pieces

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
Chelsea needs to definitely get one back.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Another free kick, edge of the box to De Gea's right.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Good run by Oscar but this time he and Torres get crossed up. Possession given away, then retrieved.

  •

Ravi Ubha: By Mata, and it's wasted, a rarity.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Free kick.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea need a goal before HT.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
Not a very impressive audition if Ashley Cole is trying to go to Manchester

  •

    [Comment from Turtledove]
Cant wait for lukaku to feature at chelsea

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
spurs again having trouble putting an opponent away.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
    LUCKY for Evans there whew

  •

    [Comment from hiractionary]
United caught napping from a throw

  •

Ravi Ubha: Then off the corner, Cahill's header is stopped by De Gea's legs. Again.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea off the post!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Miscommunication between Young and van Persie. Young in possession sends the pass one way, van Persie went the other. Van Persie was in a promising position, too.

  •

    [Comment from Johnny]
Who would have thought that Cole would have been as poor today as Wisdom was?

  •

    [Comment from flynner]
RVP will a score beauty in second half

  •

Ravi Ubha: They'll have to fly to Spain...

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
I think a player like Essien would be good for Chelsea to put in right now. He would add toughness to the side.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Spurs lead 2-1 at Southampton; Newcastle 1-1 WBA (Lukaku).

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Too much.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
United are finding so much space on their right side

  •

    [Comment from Sanchini]
yea...torres doesnt like to score unless he is SURE he will get a "bunch" of goals

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
David Luiz might as well play midfield right now

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
Why can't Chelsea ever start playing until 15 minutes in?

  •

    [Comment from Trilby]
What is Ashley Cole doing on the left?? Is he afraid of Valencia?

  •

Ravi Ubha: And speaking of that Valencia breaks in on the right, good block from Cahill.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
The thing about Chelsea is that they score in bunches. If these young guns get one goal, their confidence soars and they likely put in another

  •

Ravi Ubha: I'm afraid that could be the pattern. They'll have to press forward now with the score.

  •

    [Comment from Toon]
Chelsea showing weakness on the counter. Very slow getting back

  •

Ravi Ubha: I had to laugh when I heard some pundits said Arsenal could cope in goal scoring without RVP.

  •

    [Comment from Winner]
Go for the third and put them away.

  •

Ravi Ubha: A class player, Valencia.

  •

    [Comment from Trilby]
This "diamond" SAF's experimented with made me forget how dangerous Valencia can be. I predict another assist for the Ecuadorian!

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
No matter what team RVP is on, it seems like he turns it into a one-man team.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Those 2-0 leads are tricky. The natural tendency, obviously, is to defend.

  •

    [Comment from hiractionary]
united are defending way too deep, rooney could probably pass for a CDM now

  •

Ravi Ubha: Van Persie works a free kick when he's held up by Mikel.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea have recovered from the shock of going 2-0 down. Into the game now.

  •

    [Comment from Alex]
I predict a reverse of what happened last year.

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
that Luiz shot had some wicked knuckle ball action hence the late kick out by De Gea

  •

    [Comment from hiractionary]
Luiz and De Gea the most unorthodox players at their respective positions

  •

    [Comment from Sterling Archer]
I just hope this match is effectively over by half time so I can focus on my beloved Cleveland Browns

  •

    [Comment from Toby]
that was some weird goalkeeping by De Gea

  •

Ravi Ubha: Niall Quinn giving credit to De Gea for the way he saved Luiz's kick. I have to disagree. There wasn't that much movement on the ball. He could have smothered it.

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
Get Luiz out of there he's at -3 in my Fantasy Team.

  •

    [Comment from Czuch Norris]
United lead 2-0! It's impossible for them to mess things up and let Chelsea get a result! (Just ask Liverpool)

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Almost.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Chelsea to score on this free kick. I can feel it

  •

Ravi Ubha: Luiz's 35-yard free kick is kicked away by De Gea. Unorthodox.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: What was that?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Separated at birth: Clattenburg and Koscielny. And while we're at it: Vertonghen and AVB.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Free kick to Chelsea when Carrick takes out Ramires.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Halfway through the first half.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Wow, another chance for United. Luiz loses possession, Rafael picks it up, Young is in space in the box but the ball from the Brazilian is wayward.

  •

Ravi Ubha: That sums up Chelsea's day so far. Ivanovic's short pass finds the sideline, not a teammate. Moans and groans.

  •

    [Comment from Sanchini]
Chelsea are working that high press now..... its do or die for the blues

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
chelsea starlets not up to the task?

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Tactics? What tactics?

  •

    [Comment from Harry Rednapp]
    I'll coach Brasil!

  •

Ravi Ubha: Abramovich slumped in his chair.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Ivanovic with a hopeful cross across goal but no one there.

  •

Ravi Ubha: For someone who said he didn't want to manage England due to the media scrutiny, coaching Brazil as it heads into a World Cup at home? Wow.

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
Haha if Brasil doesnt get their act together there has been rumblings that Scolari will come back and coach the national team.

  •

    [Comment from cgeorge]
    Torres currently not scoring.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Scolari currently not managing.

  •

    [Comment from Jake Nazar]
    Just abysmal.

  •

    [Comment from cgeorge]
"No I don't" Torres to Van Persie.

  •

Ravi Ubha: They show a replay of Fergie after RVP scores and he stumbled out of his chair, surely so excited!

  •

PCarrESPN: RvP has six career PL goals at Stamford Bridge, more than any other visiting player.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Torres tries to link up with Oscar for a third time but too much weight and it goes out for a goal kick.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
"Remember what it was like to score goals like this?" Van Persie to Torres

  •

    [Comment from Winner]
DiMatteo is a phenomenal coach. At that level, its more about getting personalities to mesh and work together. Arguing that he's been ineffective at that because of a poor 10 minute showing is harsh.

  •

    [Comment from Kyle]
Love the 2 goal lead, but the back four is still susceptable, lot of match to play.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Its still early people, just relax and enjoy the game

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
If DiMatteo gets knocked out of the Champions League group matches and they don't win the Prem than I could definitely see it.

  •

    [Comment from Ryan]
    Bring back Scolari!!!

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
    yes I'm kidding

  •

    [Comment from Man United]
The Blues are who we thought they were!

  •

    [Comment from Winner]
Without Terry, Chelski looks terrible... RVP is pure class.

  •

Ravi Ubha: You are kidding, right?

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
    DiMatteo out!!!!

  •

    [Comment from blue dc]
    poor defensively from cahill

  •

    [Comment from KomZ]
Now that is a Turbo charge start!

  •

    [Comment from Guest]
    Abysmal defending

  •

    [Comment from Johnny]
Well, 10 minutes in and my prediction's out the window. Gotta love the BPL

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
Well, that certainly turn a molehill into a mountain.

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
    HELL YEAHHHH!!!!

  •

    [Comment from Jade]
    Poor marking yet again.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Not a good last couple of games for Chelsea. They were lucky it only ended 2-1 in Donetsk in midweek.

  •

PCarrESPN: RvP has six goals in his last six PL games vs Chelsea.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Horrible, horrible marking. Valencia with a low cross to van Persie from eight yards, in front of Cahill, and it's 2-0. Again, so easy.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Van Persie with the right foot!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: GOAL UNITED!

  •

Ravi Ubha: The way Ivanovic is playing, he won't get minutes. Look at what Ivanovic has done going forward this season.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Why doesn't Azpilicueta get any minutes? He was impressive in his one showing this year

  •

Ravi Ubha: Again, Torres on the right, cross finds Oscar, tries to chest it to a teammate but it's cut out.

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
But if Chelsea win, they'll have a 7 point gap down to third...

  •

    [Comment from Nick]
Surprised City would only be one point off. They haven't impressed so far.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Evra down as he clashes with Ivanovic. Mark Clattenburg goes over to Evra to check on him. Heavy, sliding challenge...

  •

Ravi Ubha: What are the odds of United taking a 3-0 lead, then the game ending 3-3? Remember when the Blues led 3-0 and blew it?

  •

Ravi Ubha: LOL. That is a good question. Very good.

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
Has Ashley Cole ever passed the ball with his right foot?

  •

    [Comment from uji lynuz]
    Chesea 1/2 man u

  •

Ravi Ubha: If United wins this game, the standings would be: Chelsea 22, United 21, City 21.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Torres - out on the right - crosses to Oscar in the box but his first touch is poor.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Active, that is.

  •

    [Comment from connor]
    Not to forget Carlos Valderrama

  •

    [Comment from blue dc]
luiz is better than all three, puyol's is too much like a furball

  •

    [Comment from Ryan]
    And Witsel

  •

Ravi Ubha: Well, to defend him for a sec, it was on his right foot, not left.

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
Surprised RVP didn't put it in, he was only 8 yards out.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Back to the hairdos: How bout this bunch - Luiz, Puyol, Coloccini, Fellaini...

  •

    [Comment from NYCToon]
lucky goal but beautiful set up

  •

    [Comment from Trilby]
Luiz looked like he was controlled by a kid with an Xbox!!

  •

    [Comment from Michael]
I love and hate David Luiz

  •

Ravi Ubha: Too easy for United. Where was Cole, btw? So much space for Rooney.

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
Great strike but unlucky for Chelsea

  •

    [Comment from Morty]
    so lucky united.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Young to Rooney on the right, who cut it back to van Persie on his right foot. Goes off post, hits Luiz and goes in.

  •

    [Comment from David]
    Wow!!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: 4: Luiz.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Yeah, own goal.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Chelsea all stretched at the back, and I think it'll be an own goal to Luiz.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: GOAL UNITED!

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Where he is.

  •

    [Comment from Marvin]
So where do you think he ends up?

  •

    Ravi Ubha: No!

  •

    [Comment from Trilby]
    Ravi, is Cech injured?

  •

Ravi Ubha: First chance: Van Persie from 25 yards, straight to Cech.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Arun: Still no chance. Paper talk.

  •

    [Comment from Winner]
On a bit different a note, how cool is Maurice Edu? That dudes Twitter feed is basically nothing but love for his fellow USMNT...and United by 1 :)

  •

Ravi Ubha: Can United actually take the lead for once?

  •

Ravi Ubha: Huh? What makes you think Cole will be a United player? No chance...

    [Comment from Arun]
I think Cole may be a Man Utd player next season! So Shake hands they must sooner or later!

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
I'd take Torres back at Liverpool. Suarez and Sterling darting to give him room in front. Dangerous

  •

    [Comment from Raza_88]
Actually I think even non-Chelsea fans generally like Torres; or at least dislike him a lot lot less than most Chelsea players

  •

    [Comment from neel]
    2-1 utd

  •

Ravi Ubha: No close up on the handshakes but Cole and Ferdinand did shake.

  •

    [Comment from bbot]
    1-1

  •

Ravi Ubha: He's right to get some stick. He's lost the instinct in front of goal a little. Last week vs. Tottenham was another example. He was in alone on Friedel but dithered instead of shooting quickly. Chance went.

  •

    [Comment from Julio]
I feel bad for Torres, no matter how much effort he puts in, even if it's not scoring goals and just working for the team, he still gets flak from people. In my opinion people just want him to fail

  •

    [Comment from cc]
    ready for some chelsea winning

  •

Ravi Ubha: A reminder that John Terry is serving a domestic suspension so is out. But let's see if Ferdinand and Cole shake hands.

  •

    [Comment from Jason George]
    1-3 united

  •

    [Comment from BH]
Patriots 31, Rams 20. Oops. Right country, wrong mode of football...

  •

Ravi Ubha: I mean scoring more than one goal against United or City, title contenders.

  •

    [Comment from nathan]
would you say the goal against Arsenal not being a big game?

  •

    [Comment from Johnny]
    4-1 Chelsea.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Let's not forget how young Lukaku still is.

  •

    [Comment from beamer]
    1-1

  •

    [Comment from Durrta]
ugh Lukaku seems to get him self in great positions but just cant seem to find the back of the net

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
What are the odds that this game will end as a stalemate? 0-0??

  •

    [Comment from DylanLFC]
2-2, Hazard denied the winner in injury time with an offside call...in which he is clearly onside. (bitter L'pool fan)

  •

Ravi Ubha: When was the last time he had a big game in a big game, if you get me?

  •

    [Comment from Zim]
    Torres hat-trick!

  •

    [Comment from nathan]
Lukaku has missed two 1v1 ones with Krul to beat

  •

Ravi Ubha: Not a surprise that Ferguson went with an attack minded team. And no Carrick in the center of defense!

  •

    [Comment from ManUMaverick]
Thanks Ravi, what's your impression of the lineup? Prediction United 2-0

  •

    [Comment from Danielle]
    Draw 3-3

  •

    [Comment from blue dc]
    cfc 3 mu 2

  •

    [Comment from Stephen]
    2-1 chelsea

  •

Ravi Ubha: Not watching the game (not on TV here), but he's been very good this season for WBA.

  •

    [Comment from Durrta]
    how is Lukaku playing Ravi????

  •

    [Comment from Arun]
    MU 3 Chelsea 2

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Everyone else?

  •

Ravi Ubha: I'm going with Chelsea 1, United 3.

  •

    [Comment from Danielle]
What's your prediction for this game?

  •

    [Comment from Manny --Dearborn, MI!]
they should just stop broadcasting games on TV, especially with replays. that's what's causing all the problem! (total sarcasm)

  •

    [Comment from Furmz(ARSENAL)]
    Chelsea 4 Man Utd 1 !!!!

  •

    [Comment from matt]
if calls even themselves out then the 2nd half of the season liverpool will get every call and easily get 4th

  •

Ravi Ubha: He scores so many great goals. I think of the game at Everton, for one.

  •

    [Comment from NYCToon]
Demba Ba must be a multi-jointed acrobat with the goal he scored

  •

Ravi Ubha: Nani on the bench today but Fergie using two wingers in Young and Valencia. Young's first appearance since the end of August (knee).

  •

    [Comment from ManUMaverick]
Can we please see some width today? I know the diamond has seen success this year but I think Valencia/Nani/Young will be the key, and I rarely speak of Nani being the key to anything except a draw/defeat.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Dempsey has scored for Tottenham; 2-0 at Southampton.
Ba's goal separates Newcastle and WBA.

  •

Ravi Ubha: And this is supposed to be the best league in the world, in any sport.

  •

    [Comment from DylanLFC]
How long did it take us through replay to see Suarez was clearly onside, 3 seconds? the length of the replay...

  •

Ravi Ubha: I am not a believer that 'calls even themselves out.'

  •

    [Comment from lando4city]
"Bad luck on the call but these things even out and Everton worked hard, fair result, can't slow the game down for replay, let's move on." The mindset of soccer fans against replay. Also known as insane people.

  •

    [Comment from matt]
ill never understand when people think crossing the ball into the box full of tall defenders is creating "better" chances.. yes everton had more shots but most of them were wayward headers with defenders draped all over them

  •

Ravi Ubha: I will not hypothesize :)

  •

    [Comment from Anne]
Ravi, what do you think would have happened if it was Man U who had scored there rather than Liverpool?

  •

    [Comment from Cole]
So unfair for Liverpool. They can't get a call to save their lives this year.

  •

    [Comment from DylanLFC]
They may have created chances, but Liverpool finished their chances! The linesman just had other ideas in mind.

  •

Ravi Ubha: The argument against replay in such situations is that it slows the game. Do we want the game to keep going, or the right calls?
It hasn't really affected cricket or tennis, though those games are slower paced.

  •

PCarrESPN: EPL web site officially calls it an own goal.

  •

    [Comment from sb]
Ravi, tell me why an *easily* correctable call that quite literally costs a team 3 points doesn't result in a groundswell support for replay from every sentient fan of the game?

  •

Ravi Ubha: And I inserted Baines into my fantasy team this week. I also picked Dembele, hearing he was fit. Not so.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Officially, I think, it''s now being credited as an own goal.

  •

    [Comment from Ian (LFC)]
Dailymail reported Suarez's first goal as being his. Sir Ian reported it as an own goal. Who was right?

  •

    [Comment from Stephen]
Suarez and liverpool don't deserve anything

  •

Ravi Ubha: Poll question out, guys.

  •

  •

    [Comment from AndrewG]
Liverpool without Suarez = Being: Relegated

  •

    [Comment from Raza_88]
To be honest, yes it was wrong call, but Everton didnt deserve to lose; they created the better chances in both halves. A draw is the fair result

  •

    [Comment from DylanLFC]
Gutted. I just want to go back to bed and weep. The linesman couldn't even see Suarez at the time of giving him offside, several Everton players in the way.

  •

    [Comment from matt]
ive personally never went from pandamonium and celebration to utter despair so quickly in my life. why does this happen to liverpool all the time and never for them?

  •

Ravi Ubha: My goodness, the thought of Liverpool without Suarez....

  •

    [Comment from Zim]
Suarez was robbed a fantastic goal

  •

    Ravi Ubha: LOL.

  •

    [Comment from Casey]
I guess you could say that was a sticky result for the toffees?

  •

Ravi Ubha: I also have to query why Marriner didn't allow Everton to take a free kick early, in which Naismith and Jelavic were 2-on-nothing. Later, he allowed Liverpool to take a super quick one.

  •

    [Comment from AndrewG]
Not a fan of LFC but god knows how that linesman thought that was offside.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: I totally agree.
I bet they'll come back and say it was for a foul by Coates.

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
Referee panics I think. Look at that replay, linesman is perfectly in line, where he needs to be. Suarez is off celebrating for 2 seconds before the Linesman decides it's offside.

  •

    Ravi Ubha: Horrible, horrible call.
Both teams will feel they should have gotten three points: Liverpool after taking a 2-0 lead and Everton after they levelled. They were the much better team for most of the half.
When Kevin Mirallas went off injured, the spark went out of the Toffees, who were already missing Steven Pienaar.

  •

    [Comment from liverpoolfan]
I feel like that linesman ripped my soul out of my body.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Here are the teams for our game, Chelsea vs. United:

Manchester United: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Young; Van Persie. Subs: Lindegaard, Anderson, Giggs, Hernandez, Nani, Welbeck, Scholes.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres. Subs Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Romeu, Marin, Moses, Sturridge.

  •

    [Comment from Casey]
Is the Kentucky Derby a derby?

  •

    [Comment from Troy]
    Liverpool got robbed.

  •

Ravi Ubha: You're right of course. Just has that feel to it.

  •

    [Comment from Ian P.]
You cannot really call a cross-country match a "derby".

  •

    [Comment from Ian (LFC)]
AND THEN THE LINESMAN STOLE OUR VICTORY

  •

    [Comment from Ian (LFC)]
THOSE OF US COMING FROM THE DERBY ARE NOT HAPPY.

  •

    [Comment from Nick]
    OFFSIDES?!?!?!?

  •

Ravi Ubha: A tremendous first half. The second, not as good. Liverpool had a perfectly good goal disallowed in injury time. Suarez deprived of a hat-trick.

  •

Ravi Ubha: In case you missed it, Everton and Liverpool ended 2-2 at Goodison. Liverpool took a 2-0 lead, Everton responded quickly to level before halftime.

  •

Ravi Ubha: Hi, everyone and welcome to part II Sunday of a massive derby in the Premier League.
