Bournemouth 0-0 Crewe: FT Report
Crewe goalkeeper Clayton Ince pulled off a string of fine saves to deny third division Bournemouth an FA Cup upset at the Fitness First stadium.
Ince was inspirational to prevent the Cherries from claiming a place in round four for the first time in 11 years after an exciting goalless draw.
The Trinidad and Tobago star made a particularly crucial save to stop Wade Elliott's stinging close range strike five minutes from time.
Earlier Ince reacted quickly to keep out James Hayter's first-half header after a good cross from defender Neil Young, and then to stop Elliott's close range effort with his legs.
Bournemouth goalkeeper Chris Tardif was equally impressive form at the other end on the few occasions he was called into action.
Tardif turned David Vaughan's close range header around the post after Kenny Lunt crossed from the right 12 minutes from time.
