Lincoln were denied victory in a 1-1 draw at home to Shrewsbury but still extended their unbeaten league run to six matches.
The home side broke the deadlock with a goal from Richard Butcher who fired home after 33 minutes when a corner from Ben Sedgemore came back off the far post.
Five minutes later Butcher had the chance to double Lincoln's lead but from an almost identical position he shot wide.
Shrewsbury goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin saved his team early in the second half when he did well to keep out a header from Dean Cropper.
Cropper had another effort blocked by Peter Wilding before Shrewsbury hit Lincoln on the break to equalise.
A poor clearance went straight to Steve Jagielka and he promptly blasted it back into the net.
