Scunthorpe 2-1 Leyton Orient
Scunthorpe climbed to third in Division Three with a hard-earned 2-1 home win over Leyton Orient.
The hosts grabbed the lead in the 27th minute after a fine piece of individual skill from Matt Sparrow saw him head the ball over the static Orient rearguard before driving the ball into the net right-footed.
Orient levelled six minutes before the interval through Dean Smith's diving header from Matt Lockwood's inswinging cross.
Scunthorpe dominated for much of the second half and after Steve Torpey had forced a smart save from Scott Barrett, they snatched the lead their play deserved when Ian Kilford drove home his first goal for the club after 67 minutes.
