Third Division leaders Hartlepool fought back for a priceless 2-1 win at home to struggling Carlisle after the visitors had taken a surprise lead.
Striker Jamie Burt, signed on loan from Chesterfield on Tuesday, marked his Carlisle debut with the opening goal, running 40 yards before netting with a great angled finish in the ninth minute.
He might have made it two five minutes before half-time when his shot from a similar position hit the outside of the post.
Defender Graeme Lee equalised for Hartlepool four minutes after the break when he lashed the loose ball into the roof of the net after the Cumbrians failed to clear a corner.
The winner came after 79 minutes when midfielder Darrell Clarke headed down a cross for top scorer Eifion Williams to volley his 13th goal of the season from near the penalty spot.
