Jon Newby scored his 11th goal of the season as promotion-chasing Bury came from behind to claim only their second point of the holiday programme with a 1-1 draw at home to Kidderminster.
The Shakers, missing a chance to climb up to third in the Third Division table, fell behind against the run of play to a 49th-minute penalty.
Veteran defender Steve Redmond fouled Bo Henriksen and the Danish striker picked himself up to fire home the spot-kick.
It proved to be Kidderminster's only shot on target in the entire game as they defended resolutely for much of the match.
Their resistance was finally broken 14 minutes from time when Chris Billy sent substitute David Nugent racing clear and the 17-year-old calmly set up Newby for a right-foot finish from 10 yards.
Bury went in search of the winner but Nugent was denied by a fine save from goalkeeper Stuart Brock. Despite their best endeavours Bury could not find a way through a second time and to add injury to insult they saw influential midfielder Terry Dunfield stretchered off after the game.
