Brentford 1-1 Notts County
A disastrous goalkeeping error cost relegation-threatened Notts County a priceless away win at Brentford in a 1-1 Griffin Park draw.
Although Bill Dearden's men secured an important point, the Magpies remain in trouble near the bottom of Division Two as they look to stave off the threat of going down.
Home winger Mark Williams' cross appeared an easy catch for County goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall but he fumbled the ball into the path of Rowan Vine, who bundled home a deserved equaliser after 51 minutes.
Wally Downes' side controlled much of the game but there were few chances until the visitors took the lead on the stroke of half-time. Nick Fenton was first to a fine cross from Duncan Jupp and his clinical header looped into the net.
After Vine's equaliser, County should have won when Mark Stallard blazed the ball over the crossbar in the dying seconds.
