Martyn Fotheringham's last-gasp equaliser earned Forfar a Scottish Cup replay as they drew 1-1 against Brechin.
The first half ended goalless but this derby failed to disappoint with both sides ended the opening 45 minutes with 10 men.
Forfar's Stuart Malcolm received a red card after only eight minutes when he reacted badly to a challenge from Derek Carcary, before Ewan Moyes received his marching orders just after half an hour.
Alan Trouten put the hosts ahead after 53 minutes when he latched on to Carcary's pass and they nearly doubled the lead when Graham Hay hit the bar.
But deep into stoppage time Fotheringham made them pay for that missed chance as he struck a free-kick into the bottom corner from distance.
Mark Baxter then received a second yellow card as the Loons finished with nine men, with the tie to be decided by a replay.
