Calum Elliot fired Raith to a 3-0 victory over Annan in the Ramsdens Cup semi-final.
Annan got off to the worst possible start when Peter Weatherson shinned a free-kick into the box past his own goalkeeper after just 50 seconds.
David Hopkirk had the ball in the net for the visitors shorty after but he was flagged offside.
They came agonisingly close again when Andy Mitchell had a shot from the corner of the area but it crashed back off the crossbar.
Instead Raith increased their lead in the 73rd minute when Greig Spence crossed and Elliot was on hand to tuck the ball home.
And a minute from time Elliot curled in his second and Rovers' third to seal the win.
Rangers are away to Stenhousemuir in the second semi-final on October 29.
