David Greenhill bagged a first-half brace to help East Stirling to a 3-0 victory over Elgin.
The home side dominated from the start, with Kevin Turner's header parried by Raymond Jellema.
Elgin threatened after 13 minutes and Grant Hay had to be alert to repel Shane Sutherland's header.
But Greenhill gave East Stirling the lead after 30 minutes when he latched onto Maxwell Wright's pass to sweep the ball home.
The lead was doubled seven minutes later thanks to a wonderful lob by Greenhill from just inside the area.
Jamie Duff had a header well saved by Hay in the second half but Elgin's misery was compounded in injury time when Paul McMullan put the ball past his own goalkeeper.
