Four extra-time goals saw Morton secure their place in the second round of the Scottish Communities League Cup with a 6-2 victory over East Fife.
The Ton broke the deadlock in the 55th minute of normal time when Mark McLaughlin bundled home from close range before Michal Habai fired in to make it 2-0.
Fifers striker Liam Buchanan then scored twice to force an additional 30 minutes of play, but Morton flew out of the blocks in the first half of extra-time.
Goals from David McNeil and Archie Campbell put the visitors in control before Campbell's missed penalty was tapped in on the rebound by Dougie Imrie to make it 5-2 as the teams again changed ends.
Campbell added his second in the closing stages when he struck from 10 yards to round off an entertaining triumph.
