Airdrie caused one of the upsets of the Ramsdens Cup first round to beat Scottish Championship side Hamilton 2-1 at New Broomfield.
Despite going behind to Louis Longridge's effort, the hosts hit back with goals from Willie McLaren and Nathan Blockley.
Hamilton took an 18th-minute lead when Longridge's deflected effort spun beyond Colin Stewart.
But the hosts hit back through McLaren's smart turn and finish from inside the area.
Blockley made the difference just before the hour mark when the young midfielder headed beyond visiting keeper Kevin Cuthbert.
Willie Mclaren went close to doubling Airdrie's lead with 10 minutes left to play but Cuthbert managed to tip the striker's effort over the bar.
