Melbourne Victory striker Guilherme scored in stoppage time to peg back Western Sydney Wanderers and leave them four points from the A-League summit.
Brendan Santalab scored seconds after coming on as a substitute in the 71st minute to put the Wanderers ahead, and they were on course to cut Brisbane Roar's advantage at the top to two points until the very end, when Guilherme made it 1-1.
That leaves the Roar, 5-2 winners over Sydney on Boxing Day, four clear while Victory are four points further back.
Victory coach Kevin Muscat was quoted as saying by AAP: "Left it late didn't we? Gui's come a long way from a serious knee operation less than 12 months ago ... he's coming on, having impacts and changing the outcomes of games."
