A first-half hat-trick from Greg Stewart helped Cowdenbeath come from behind to smash Vale of Leithen 8-1 and progress into the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The non-league visitors were in dreamland when they took the lead after just 66 seconds through Scott Moffat's close-range finish, only to see Kerr Dodds dismissed after a reckless tackle after just 10 minutes.
Stewart's first of the game came when his long-range effort slotted into the bottom corner in the 25 minute. Six minutes later he grabbed his second with a neat finish inside the box, and then won the match ball when he finished calmly from 12 yards four minutes before the break.
After the restart, striker Lewis Coult picked up a brace and in doing so took his tally to eight for the season. His first came with a 20-yard drive and then after Marc McKenzie had struck from close range, he notched again from inside the penalty area.
Mark Ramsay got his name on the scoresheet with a drive from the edge of the area before the rout was completed by James Stevenson whose left-footed effort found the bottom corner.
