Leighton McIntosh was on target for Montrose as they came from behind to beat Berwick 4-1 at Shielfield Park.
The hosts took the lead in the ninth minute of the game when Darren Lavery found the bottom corner of the net from 18 yards out.
McIntosh drew Montrose level just two minutes later when he tapped in from close range.
The visitors began to dominate and it wasn't long before they found themselves in front. Jamie Winter struck from the edge of the area in the 22nd minute to give his side a lead which they held on to until the half time break.
Scott Johnston sealed the points for Montrose when he headed home from close range in the 80th minute before Lloyd Young's drilled finish from 12 yards out made it 4-1 four minutes later.
