Evian and Ajaccio were both frustrated in their bid to pull clear of the Ligue 1 relegation zone after sharing the spoils in tonight's encounter at Parc des Sports.
Dennis Oliech fired Ajaccio into a first-half lead in Annecy but Daniel Wass' header after the break ensured the contest ended all square as both teams saw their winless runs extend to five matches.
Evian remain one point and one place above the drop zone, while Ajaccio are just a point better off.
The hosts created a couple of half chances before the break but neither Milos Ninkovic nor Wass could get the better of Guillermo Ochoa.
Instead the only goal of the opening period went the way of the visitors after 36 minutes when Ebert Betao was caught in possession at the back by Johan Cavalli, who picked out Oliech to apply a simple finish.
Cavalli and Oliech combined again a minute into the second half to tee up Benjamin Andre on the left of the penalty area but his low shot was saved by Bertrand Laquait.
Evian equalised in the 53rd minute as Olivier Sorin advanced down the wing and crossed for Wass, who just beat Ochoa to the ball to guide a header into the net.
Ninkovic attempted an overhead kick in the 64th minute but Ochoa was in the right place to make a comfortable save, while Ajaccio carved out the game's final opening with 16 minutes remaining as Adrian Mutu's first-time shot was kept at bay by Laquait.
