Donk snatches late victory for Brugge
Ryan Donk's 90th-minute header gave Club Brugge a smash-and-grab 2-1 Europa League victory at Braga.
The Portuguese side were utterly dominant in the first half and deservedly took the lead eight minutes after the break through Helder Barbosa.
But Joseph Akpala, a first-half substitute, levelled after 71 minutes before Donk's late contribution sealed the game in the visitors' favour.
It left Club top of Group H with both sides having won their opening games.
Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe's early effort was blocked by Vinicius, but most of the play was down the other end.
Marcio Mossoro was denied first by Club defender Donk, then goalkeeper Colin Coosemans, before Hugo Viana's 20-yard free-kick struck Bjorn Vleminckx.
After 11 minutes, Braga were awarded another free-kick in a dangerous position, Viana this time finding Alan in the penalty area, but the Brazilian's header was wide.
In the 23rd minute, Djamal got on the end of Viana's cross but found Niki Zimling in the way of his shot, while Quim was on hand to save a rare Club effort from Vleminckx.
Barbosa headed wide and Alan's shot was saved by Coosemans before the visitors lost Vleminckx to injury, with Akpala taking his place
Three more chances were sent wide by Alan, and Coosemans parried Lima's shot, before Mossora finished weakly from six yards moments before half-time.
The onslaught continued after the break when Lima's close-range effort was turned round the post by Coosemans, and they were rewarded after 53 minutes.
It came from Baiano's cross, with Barbosa connecting with a header finally to beat Coosemans.
Club almost responded immediately as Quim parried Joseph Akpala's strike, before Mossoro and and Lima spurned chances to double the Braga lead.
Akpala was in again in the 70th minute, shooting wide, but he made no mistake a minute later when he was played in by Donk and finished from close range.
Braga created a number of opportunities to settle matters in their favour, but Alan and Lima were wasteful.
And Donk took full advantage when he got on the end of Odjidja-Ofoe's cross to deliver the sucker punch.
