FC Utrecht came from behind to beat FC Groningen this afternoon and end a run of three games without a win in the Eredivisie.
Dusan Tadic fired the visitors in front, but that goal was cancelled out shortly before the interval by Edouard Duplan.
Late strikes from Cedric van der Gun and Alexander Gerndt then earned them a seventh league success of the season.
Groningen have now lost four on the trot and sit just two points above their opponents in the standings.
The visitors made the brighter start and were in front after 14 minutes. Utrecht's defence failed to clear a ball into the area allowing Tadic to fire a shot into the bottom left corner.
Chances were few and far between thereafter but Utrecht finally found an equaliser three minutes before the break when Duplan picked up a cross from Gerndt and planted the ball low into the net.
The second half struggled to get going until 78 minutes and Tadic was unfortunate not to give Groningen the lead again when he beat goalkeeper Roberto Fernandez but saw his effort come back off the left post.
That let-off sparked Utrecht to life and Van Der Gun headed them in front after 84 minutes from Duplan's cross.
And the win was sealed a minute from time thanks to Gerndt, who found the top left corner with his left-footed strike.
