Conal Platt's brace ensured Forest Green claimed a shock 2-1 victory over Mansfield in the FA Cup first round replay at Field Mill.
Platt opened the scoring with a fine free-kick in the 40th minute and, after Kyle Perry had equalised for the Stags, the Rovers striker grabbed his side's winner in injury-time to set up a second round meeting with Bath City.
Rovers had suffered late heartbreak in the original fixture ten days earlier when Scott Garner netted a late equaliser to keep the tie alive for Mansfield.
But Dave Hockaday's side started brightly again in the replay and went close to breaking the deadlock on the half hour when Platt's dangerous right-wing cross was headed against the post by Sean Rigg.
Platt then fired Rovers into a deserved lead with a splendid 20-yard free-kick which curled around the wall and sailed into the top corner.
The Stags levelled with 20 minutes to go when Gary Silk's cross was met by Perry, who planted his header neatly into the bottom corner.
Mansfield pressed hard for a winner but were caught napping by an incisive Forest Green move which ended with Platt converting Rigg's cross.
