Substitute Rydell Poepon's injury-time equaliser against NAC Breda gave Sparta Rotterdam a vital point in their battle against relegation from the Eredivisie.
Sparta drew with PSV Eindhoven last weekend but they were behind early on today when Matthew Amoah tapped in.
Milano Koenders equalised just before half-time but the points looked to be going to NAC when Csaba Feher put them back in front in the 48th minute only for Poepon to pop up with a late header.
It took 18 minutes for the visitors to move ahead. Ferne Snoyl's cross evaded Sparta keeper Aleksander Seliga and found Amoah at the back post, who could not miss.
Patrick Zwaanswijk then drew a decent save from Seliga as NAC sought a second, before, at the other end, Joshua John broke through into the area before firing in a shot that Jelle ten Rouwelaar just got fingertips to.
Sparta got their equaliser a minute before the break in similar fashion, Koenders dribbling into the area and then finding the far corner with a pinpoint shot.
NAC needed only three minutes of the second half to regain their advantage, though. Joonas Kolkka's corner was headed back by Zwaanswijk for Feher to power the ball into the net.
Poepon had not been on the pitch long when he tested Ten Rouwelaar with a fierce shot while NAC could have secured the points with a third when Feher found himself in space but shot straight at Seliga after the keeper had flapped at a cross.
Poepon was looking the main dangerman, though, and so it proved when he directed Kevin Strootman's corner in off the far post.
The draw took Sparta three points clear of the relegation play-off spots while NAC moved up a place to eighth.
