Nice all but guaranteed Ligue 1 survival by coming from behind to beat already-relegated Grenoble this evening.
Nassim Akrour put the visitors ahead, but Eric Mouloungui levelled before half-time and Emerse Fae completed the turnaround 13 minutes from time.
The win moved Nice 12 points clear of the drop zone with four games to play.
Nice, who enjoyed a three-match winning streak in March, came into the game without a win in three and were on the back foot from the off.
Home goalkeeper David Ospina blocked David Sauget's shot from outside the area in the third minute and saved again from Daisuke Matsui a minute later.
At the other end Jody Viviani produced an excellent reflex save to keep out Loic Remy's fine header from Anthony Mounier's cross.
Grenoble went in front in the 21st minute when Laurent Courtois counter-attacked and Gregory Paisley's attempt to dispossess him simply freed Aktour, who rounded Ospina and slid the ball home.
Fae fired powerfully just wide as Nice looked for an immediate response and drew level in the 34th minute.
Paisley released Mouloungui with a long ball and the forward chested the ball down before shooting between Viviani's legs.
Viviani was equal to Fa's shot 10 minutes after the restart, while Ospina was also called into action by Bostjan Cesar's header from Laurent Batlles' corner.
But Fae struck the winner for Nice in the 77th minute. He tapped home from close range after Chaouki Ben Saada released Mounier down the left and his cross picked out his team-mate in the middle.
Batlles' free-kick in the 88th minute might have snatched a point for Grenoble, but Ospina made the save to send the basement boys crashing to a 24th league defeat of the season.
