FC Volendam continued their impressive recent run, making it six games unbeaten as they came from behind to beat Feyenoord this afternoon.
Veteran striker Roy Makaay put the Rotterdam giants in front in the 10th minute but Dominique van Dijk equalised for Volendam just before the hour mark and grabbed the winner with six minutes to go.
The result sees Frans Adelaar's side move off the bottom of the table on goal difference and replaced by De Graafschap, who drew at Vitesse Arnhem, while Roda JC are just a point better off after a defeat at home to Ajax.
Feyenoord made the brighter start and Diego Biseswar's fifth-minute shot from 20 yards struck the upright.
It was a sign of things to come as Leon Vlemmings' team moved in front five minutes later. Makaay found space in the box to fire home, with Volendam goalkeeper Jeroen Verhoeven at fault.
Verhoeven atoned to an extent with a good save to keep out Kelvin Leerdam's close-range effort, before Volendam created their first opening as Aaron Meijers just failed to get on the end of Melvin Platje's cross from the right on the half-hour mark.
Feyenoord hit the woodwork for a second time on the stroke of half-time as Makaay played in Georginio Wijnaldum one on one with Verhoeven but he struck the post.
Volendam emerged re-energised in the second period and Platje went close with a shot from 20 yards which just flew wide in the 53rd minute.
Six minutes later and they were level, Van Dijk beating two Feyenoord challenges before steering a shot through goalkeeper Henk Timmer's legs.
He almost gave the hosts the lead in the 63rd minute but this time Timmer was equal to his effort, but he was not to be denied late on. Played through one on one, he applied a cool finish to a neat through-ball to claim maximum points for his struggling side.
