Sierra Leone 0-1 Nigeria: Last ditch Yobo
FREETOWN, June 7 (Reuters) - Everton defender Joseph Yobo scrambled in a last-minute goal to hand Nigeria a second successive World Cup qualifying win as they beat Sierra Leone 1-0 away in Freetown on Saturday.
Yobo applied the finishing touch in a goalmouth melee to
hand the Super Eagles top place in the African zone Group Four
standings.
Nigeria, who twice saw their hosts hit the woodwork, beat
South Africa 2-0 last Sunday in their opening qualifier.
