Notts County 2-0 Boston Utd
Boston's relegation woes deepened as Jason Lee scored one and set up another to maintain Notts County's faint play-off hopes with a 2-0 win.
The former Pilgrims striker finished off a good team move after 11 minutes, and when his second-half header was saved, substitute Matt Somner was able to bundle the ball in.
County had won their previous two matches and began confidently, with Jay Smith firing wide early on.
The midfielder was involved again for the opening goal with a through ball for Andy Parkinson, whose low cross left Lee with a tap-in.
Boston gradually came back into the match with Stewart Talbot and Francis Green shooting wide before the break.
Substitute David Galbraith saw his 56th-minute free-kick tipped on to the crossbar by Kevin Pilkington, with the ball bouncing on the line before being cleared.
Lee almost extended the lead with a header from Smith's corner but his header from Austin McCann's free-kick was only parried by Andy Marriott for Somner to score his first goal of the season.
