Farnborough 1-2 Carlisle
High-flying Carlisle remain on course for a play-off spot after securing a 2-1 win at relegation-threatened Farnborough.
The home side made a bright start as Scott Canham tried his luck after six minutes with an effort from the edge of the area that Carlisle goalkeeper Matt Glennon did well to turn round the post.
Clear-cut chances were few and far between until Carlisle defender David Beharall made the breakthrough five minutes before the interval, firing high into the net after good work from striker Karl Hawley.
Peter Murphy doubled the advantage with a cool finish from the edge of the area 10 minutes after the restart and Adam Murray almost added a third but Boro keeper Andy Petterson made a fine save to kep his side in the hunt.
The hosts pulled a goal back from the penalty spot five minutes from time with Tony Taggart the man on target after Chris Lumsdon had fouled Michael Charles.
But it was too little too late and Paul Simpson's side held on for the points.
