Scarborough brought an end to their three-match winless run with a 3-0 victory over basement club Leigh RMI.
Chris Senior fired a shot over the crossbar and Colin Cryan went close with a header as the hosts made a bright start.
Senior was desperate to get on the scoresheet and was denied by Leigh goalkeeper Jon Worsnop before firing his side ahead with a low shot from close range two minutes before the interval.
Neil Bishop went close with a volley as the hosts started the second half in determined fashion before Cryan doubled their advantage with just over 20 minutes left.
The visitors failed to deal with Kevin Nicholson's cross and Cryan slotted the ball low into the bottom corner.
Mark Hotte put the result beyond doubt after 79 minutes when he converted another Nicholson cross and Leigh's misery was complete when Andrew Roscoe was dismissed for a foul on Ashley Lyth with seven minutes left.
