Lincoln City 3-1 Telford
Lincoln reached the second round of the LDV Vans Trophy with two goals in the final 15 minutes to secure a 3-1 win against Conference side Telford.
The Imps dominated the early stages but only had Francis Green's 10th-minute volley to show for their efforts.
Chris MacKenzie produced an excellent diving save to keep out a free-kick from Mark Bailey and the Telford keeper then did well to block a shot from Ricky Butcher with his legs.
Telford were more adventurous after the break and levelled in the 53rd minute when former Bradford striker Lee Mills rammed home from close range.
But Lincoln went back in front 18 minutes from time as Marcus Richardson converted from close range after a shot from Butcher came back off the woodwork.
Telford sub John Grant had a great chance to equalise but headed wide, before Lincoln clinched victory six minutes from the end when Bailey curled home a delightful free-kick.
