Kyle Letheren returns to the reckoning for Dundee as they prepare to host Scottish Championship title rivals Hamilton.
The goalkeeper is available again after serving a one-match suspension but new manager Paul Hartley will be without Iain Davidson (hamstring), Stephen O'Donnell (knee) and Craig Beattie (knee) for his first game in charge at Dens Park.
Hartley is looking for a hat-trick of wins over his first senior club after leading Alloa to two 1-0 victories in this campaign.
He said: "I am delighted to be here and I know that there is a good group of players here. It is a terrific game to start with and it would be terrific to get a win."
Hamilton player/ manager Alex Neil is the only absentee for the Accies as he continues to battle his way back to fitness following groin surgery.
Neil insists his side's preparations have not altered despite Dundee's high-profile appointment of Hartley
He said: "In terms of the game nothing has changed as it is still second versus third with the winners having the potential to go top if Falkirk slip up.
"We played well at Dens Park earlier in the season and could have won but we hit the woodwork three times. Hopefully we can play as well again and get a break in front of goal."
