Forfar are missing the banned Stuart Malcolm and Mark Baxter as they meet Brechin in the Scottish Cup fourth round replay.
The Loons have further selection concerns as Dale Hilson is out with a hamstring problem and Iain Campbell, Martyn Fotheringham, Omar Kader and Gavin Swankie are doubts after picking up knocks in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dunfermline.
Elsewhere, Aberdeen have not allowed the on-loan Craig Storie to play.
Station Park manager Dick Campbell said: "I will decide my team pretty close to kick-off and whilst we may be short of numbers my teams are always high on spirit."
Brechin are also missing players with Ewan Moyes and Stuart Anderson banned while Bobby Barr is absent following groin surgery.
Manager Ray McKinnon is determined his side make up for letting their passage to the next round slip through their hands in the first meeting when they when an injury-time goal.
McKinnon said: "It is a tie we should have won in the first game. We had chances to seal the win but never took them and then lost a deflected goal in injury time.
"Hopefully the prospect of playing St Johnstone at home in the next round will give our players the extra incentive needed."
